Cederquist advises CDON on the combination between CDON and Fyndiq

CDON and the majority shareholders of Fyndiq, two of the leading retail marketplaces in Sweden, have agreed to combine their businesses to create the leading Nordic e-commerce marketplace. The combined company, known as CDON, will continue to operate two separate consumer offerings under the brands CDON and Fyndiq. The combined business is valued to approximately SEK 1.8 billion.

The combination is subject to approval by the shareholders of CDON at an extraordinary general meeting and is expected to close in Q2 2023.

Cederquist’s deal team consisted of Henrik Wållgren, Tone Myhre-Jensen, Jonas Forsén, Hanna Reiding, Johanna Wigfeldt, Matilda Larsson and Karin Karsten. The team also included specialist groups engaged in the transaction.
