Cederquist advisor to Kesko Oyj in connection with K-rauta AB’s acquisition of 100 % of the shares in Fresks Group

The acquisition of Fresks Group from Litorina, Oscarson Invest and the other shareholders is part of Kesko’s strategic objective to strengthen its market position in Northern Europe within the building and technical trade. Fresks Group has a strong market position with 33 stores in Sweden, employs approximately 500 people and focuses mainly on the B2B segment. The completion of the acquisition is subject to the approval from the Swedish competition authorities.

Cederquist’s team has consisted of Maja Wettergren (partner M&A) and associates Caroline Wassdahl, Fanny Lönnegren and Björn Sjöberg. Competition matters were handled by partner Fredrik Lindblom with assistance from associate Sanna Widén. A team of other specialists has also assisted on the transaction.
