Cederquist has assisted Cloetta AB (publ) to secure competition approval for its acquisition of Candyking Holding AB

Cederquist has assisted Cloetta in connection with the merger filing required for its acquisition of Candyking. The acquisition is combining two of the largest actors in the market for pick & mix confectionery. The notification was submitted on 1 March 2017 and the Swedish Competition Authority decided to approve it unconditionally on 5 April 2017.

Cederquist’s team consisted of partner Fredrik Lindblom and senior associate Kristoffer Molin (competition law), partner Wilhelm Lüning and senior associate Nils Lundgren (public M&A), associate Helena Caan Mattsson (private M&A) and Viktor Eriksson (public M&A).
