Cederquist have advised Verdane Capital

Cederquist act as advisers when Verdane Capital, together with the Norwegian family-owned company BEWi AS, forms one of the leading companies in the Nordic region in the area of EPS products for building insulation and the packaging industry.

Andulf Advokat and Cederquist have advised Verdane Capital in connection with the amalgamation of the portfolio company StyroChem Finland Oy with BEWi AS, thereby forming BEWi Group. In direct connection with the amalgamation, BEWi Group acquired two Norwegian cellular plastic businesses from the listed English packaging group,  DS Smith PLC.

Prior to the amalgamation, the  entities included in the new BEWi Group had total budgeted sales in 2014 of approx. SEK 1.7 billion.

Andulf Advokat’s team comprised Jockum Catoni and Tobias Öberg, while Cederquist’s team comprised Johan Lundberg, assisted by Livet Prause and Joachim Strand.
